Prof. dr. Mark De Vries studied Economics and Econometrics at Utrecht University and completed his PhD in applied data analysis within economic policy research. His academic work focuses on combining economic theory with empirical data to understand social and economic challenges.
Throughout his career, he has worked on research projects in labor market policy, macroeconomic modeling, and impact evaluation of public interventions. He also supervised students in building complex datasets, regression models, and causal analyses.
With more than fifteen years of experience as a lecturer, researcher, and academic editor, Mark supports students in structuring their research, applying econometric methods correctly, and presenting results clearly.
